Anacortes, WA
Fidalgo Bay
Start Time: 10:00 AM
Finish Time: 1:30 PM
Temp: Low 50's dropping to Mid 40's

Participants: Sammi Brombacker and Jake Heare

We reached the site in the morning while the weather was pretty calm. We pulled up the trays and began opening them. After cleaning the trays, Sammi began counting con non specifics while Jake collected mortalities. Sammi assisted in finishing mortality collection and photographed the oysters in the trays. We then counted all the live oysters and found that very little mortality had occurred compared to our expected remaining number. No samples were taken due to the low mortality. New tray labels and fresh hobologgers were placed in the trays. Trays were then closed back up and put back into the water.

Shortly before we finished the North wind picked up. As we were leaving clouds from the north began blowing in. Beautiful mountains.
